Help will be forwarded to residents who are facing financial troubles and are at threat from foreclosures even before the actual onset of the process. A hotline has started to function for this purpose.
Foreclosures are highly concentrated in Brainerd and Highland Park regions. From November 2008 to March 2009 there had been 346 foreclosures. Of these 25% were in Brainerd.
