China is investing in America and creating jobs for the Americans. But since the cost of labour is far more expensive (although gap is narrowing) in USA it poses questions as to why Chinese business persons are taking this move. Both Beijing and Washington are offering incentives in the form of subsidies and tax relief respectively. And new jobs can help decrease foreclosure.

An article in Fortune by Sheridan Prasso has lauded this move and said Americans employed in the Chinese firms are not concerned about ideology. She says that China remains politically a communist nation although its economy has now become capitalistic.
The truth is that in the Chinese system there is not a fig leaf of communism. This makes it so comfortable for the two countries to tango together. China seems to be a replica of the Nazis system of Hitler. A marriage has been brought about between unashamed totalitarianism and naked private capitalism. Jumbo business, dances best with dictators that can trample individual freedom. This is what brought about spectacular economic transformation in Nazi Germany at that point of time. All the symptoms are being displayed by the China of today.

The difference between modern China and Nazi Germany however is that the racial bigotries of the Nazi rule does not operate here in the East. While the Jews were persecuted by the Nazis they found welcome shelter in Shanghai during World War II. Shanghai was the sole city that did not want identification papers from the fugitives. The most holy texts of the Jews were safely kept in Shanghai. It was only after the end of the war that these were handed over to Israel. In the post Mao period the government of China changed its official stand and described Zionism as a nationalist movement and not a racist one.

Thus many Americans are at ease with China. China obtained its nuclear bomb from Israel and not the Soviet Union. One refugee from Shanghai, Shaul Eisenberg later became the wealthiest businessperson of Israel. He had a big hand in transferring nuclear bomb technology to China during the first years of the 60s. Although it was never out in the open, the affair between China and America has been running deep and long. Today however China is turning to Islamic nations for energy and no longer requires Israel.
Against this background and the recent developments the implications are far reaching.
