We are expecting a large influx of repossessions here in Spain, however - before it gets to the bank, owners are taking action by marketing their properties around Real Estate Agents as distressed sales, even being able to take over the mortgage with agreement from the banks.

This would have never got to this stage IF banks had not become so greedy, yes us estate agents like to make a sell but this has now effected the whole industry and we all as home owners are feeling the pinch.

However, one persons misfortune is another mans gain, which is seeing the "serious" buyers now taking advantage after watching the market for the past couple of years - they are now taking action.
